My wife is totally in love with Alan Rickman, so when I showed her this Dr. Lazarus custom figure that Toyfare featured in their September 2008 issue I thought she was going to swoon. It turns out that IDW is going to be publishing a Galaxy Quest comic beginning in August. The figure, by the way, is done by Kyle Robinson who does some of the best custom figures I’ve ever seen.
Play.Com is going to be selling a plush Murloc toy in September. For the moment, this appears to be a UK-only release.
Superhero Times points out this awesome Godzilla Crumble Zone playset available from Monster Island Toys. According to Monster Island’s promo text the playset,

Hmmm . . . a book called Lego for Adults has a lot of possibilities, but it turns out its just about making cool guns out of Legos (perhaps “Legos for Adolescent Men Over 30” would have been a better title). And these are some cool-ass looking guns,

I’ve seen a lot of strange action figures (hell, I own a lot of strange action figures), but who knew Mattel would actually authorize a “The Birds” themed Barbie. What’s next, a Dexter-themed Ken?
