Like everything Lego, these storage bricks are both ridiculously awesome and expensive (at $29.99 apiece).
I never noticed that there weren’t any modern military Lego sets until someone pointed it out on a forum.
Gizmodo asked Lego straight up back in 2008 as to whether or not we’ll ever see modern military Lego sets, and the answer was a definitive no,
Q: Are there any chances that Lego will ever start producing modern day warfare Lego, with tanks and helicopters and what not?
A: We have a strict policy regarding military models, and therefore, we do not produce tanks, helicopters, etc. While we always support the men and women who serve their country, we prefer to keep the play experiences we provide for children in the realm of fantasy.
That seems a bit hair splitting given the Medieval, Pirate, Star Wars, Wild West, etc. themed sets that Lego has long sold.
CitizenBrick.com sells this $250 Breaking Bad-inspired Superlab Playset. What this needs is an RV-themed companion with a Krazy-8 minifig.
