Eaglemoss is relaunching its DC Super Hero Collection. These are 1:21 scale figures that come with a 16-page booklet about the character.
Eaglemoss previously had a line of these figurines that came out monthly from 2009-2012, though I have no idea how popular they were (I picked up a couple dozen of them on clearance at the local comic book shop).
The original version of these figures were cast in lead, whereas now Eaglemoss is advertising that the relaunched figures are created in “metallic polyresin.” The sculpts, however, appear to be identical to the lead figures so far.
Diamond Select has a series of resin busts of DC characters based on their Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series appearaces.
Apparently you can buy a Magic 8 Ball that looks like Batman (the ball is visible underneath Batman’s neck).
I guess I can accept this as long as the phrases are changed to “I’m Batman,” “Yes, old chum,” and “Some days, you just can’t get rid of a bomb!”
In every way, this movie would be superior to that Henry Cavill / Ben Affleck abomination.
Ugh…Batman and steampunk should go together like chocolate and peanutbutter, but this “steampunk” Batman from Square Enix is just awful looking. Do not want.
Now this print by Jeff Welborn is what a goddamn Steampunk Batman should look like. Holy crap, why hasn’t DC thrown piles of money at Welborn to do more with this? Where’s my freaking action figure of this?
