ReAction Planet of the Apes Statue of Liberty Action Playset

System7 was selling these amazing looking Planet of the Apes playsets at SDCC 2018. These really do an excellent job of capturing the goofy photos and box text from the Kenner playsets (“Explore real Forbidden Zone Adventures”!!)

Boom! and Dark Horse Comics’ Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes

In 1971’s Escape from the Planet of the Apes, Caesar is born on Earth in 1973 after Cornelius and Zira travel back in time from Earth’s far future.

Boom! and Dark Horse’s five-issue Tarzan on the Planet of the Apes has Cornelius and Zira end up arriving in the 19th the century where Caesar and Tarzan cross paths.

Raised as brothers but separated by slave traders, Tarzan and his ape brother Caesar reunite when the war between man and ape takes them from the jungles of Africa to the center of the earth.
