A lot of offbeat action figures leave me scratching my head as often as they make me want to reach for my wallet. Funko’s ReAction series of figures is definitely in the latter category.
This line takes popular TV shows and movies, and then imagines what action figures for those would have looked like if they had been created in the late 1970s.
The line started with imagining what action figures for the Alien movie would have looked like (none were ever produced for the original film), and then started branching out into other famous pop culture brands.
These Buffy: The Vampire Slayer figures, for example are awesome from the 70s-style sculpts all the way down to the card design. More please.
OMG yes… a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Lunch Box. The only way this could be more full of win is if it came with a matching thermos. The first image below is the front of the lunch box, and the bottom image is the back.
I’m getting two — one for display, and one to take my lunch to work (currently alternating between Spider-Man and Superman lunchboxes).
