OpenXCom

OpenXCom is an open source clone of the original XCom: UFO Defense. The goal of the project is to run the original XCom on modern systems, with some bug fixes and modding/tweaking enhancements.

OpenXCom does require a copy of the original game in order to run, but that can be obtained fairly cheaply on Steam or GOG.
