Now this is the way to do a giant robot action figure. Capturing Mazinger Z, this 11 3/4″ action figure includes removable front armor plates that reveal the underlying structure of the giant robot as well as the hangar facility. Wow. I’d take three if they weren’t $440 apiece.
Mech Warfare
Mech Warfare is a robotics competition whose aim is to,
create a real-life robotic combat competition that mirrors the scenarios found in Sci-Fi universes such as Battletech, Warhammer 40k and Armored Core.
This competition will pit participants against each other, piloting custom designed 1/24th scale robots- armed with Airsoft weapon systems and higher end weapons such as micro rockets, flame throwers and CO2 projectile weapon systems.
Now those are some people who take their mechas very seriously. Given the way Internet memes spread, the inevitable Steampunk subdivision can’t be far off, to be quickly joined by Steampunk Airsoft Mecha vs. Zombies (now I’d pay to see that).
