In 1964, Aurora Models released its Glow-In-The-Dark 1/500 Scale Godzilla Model kit. Back in 2018, Atlantis Toy & Hobby purchased the existing tooling owned by Revell in the United States, and began re-releasing Aurora models based on that original tooling.
The Invaders was a 1960s US television show about a man who (unsuccessfully) tries to warn people about an ongoing alien invasion.
In 1968, Aurora Models released a 1/72 scale kit of the UFO featured in the series. That kit was re-released several times, both by Aurora and later Tsukuda and Monogram.
Now Atlantis Toy & Hobby is re-releasing the classic model kit using the original Aurora tooling.
