There is just so much to unpack in this single ad.
This seems to be based on a myth/urban legend that I had not heard before that claims washing your hair when you have a cold could cause the illness to become more serious and potentially turn into pneumonia. This appears to be a variant of claims that having wet hair in cold weather will increase the risk of illness.
