According to animal rights activists, yesterday there were hundreds of events to mark World Farm Animals Day. I happened to briefly witness one while on my way to a restaurant (for a chicken dinner, thank you very much).
There were a grand total of three activists on a busy corner protesting outside a popular sports bar. The activists held up signs with pictures of farm animals on them saying “Go Vegetarian” or something similar.
On the other hand my 3 year-old daughter considers the much maligned hot dog to be a delicacy, and who was I to deny her?
