The other day I was looking for a solution to make a WordPress site completely private. Private Only is a plugin that does exactly that — if you’re not logged in, you’re redirected to the login page. I installed it on a blog I use as a sort of private Twitter and it worked seamlessly.
I still maintain it is absurd that this sort of feature isn’t already built in to WordPress
Yes, Batman CosBabies,

I read 4-5 toy magazines each month and subscribe to the RSS feeds of pretty much every action figure/superhero toy website I can find. And yet, occasionally things slip past me until I see something in the store and think a) who the hell thought that would be a good idea, and b) I must have it.
This happened to me over the weekend when I found this on clearance at Wal-Mart,

Yes, boys and girls, that’s a Spider-Man Traffic Light. Seriously. That’s almost as cool as the Batman Jewelry Box that, sadly, I did not pick up when I had the chance.

Tod Browning’s 1932 classic, Freaks, is apparently in the public domain and available for download at Archive.Org. This movie was considered so far out on the edge for its time that it ruined Browning’s career, led to a financial disaster for Universal, and was banned in the UK until the 1960s.
Sadly, the original version was received so negatively by test screen audiences that Universal ordered a recut that resulted in over 30 minutes of Browning’s original footage being removed; that footage is still lost.
