Watchmen Trailer Is Out
Oh my. Finally a Watchmen trailer. This is apparently going to be appearing in theaters in front of the Dark Knight.

Blizzard On Achievements for Wrath of the Lich King expansion
It’s been known for awhile that World of Warcraft was going to adopt some sort of achievement system with the new Wrath of the Lich King expansion, but apparently they’re going all-in on an achievement system,
World of Warcraft’s achievements system will launch with more than 500 individual achievements covering every aspect of gameplay, including world exploration, PvE, PvP, professions, and character development; from the purely whimsical to the truly epic, there will be something for everyone. Some achievements come with in-game rewards such as tabards, vanity pets, and titles. All of these rewards are purely cosmetic and just for fun, but you’ll certainly stand out when you proudly display them.
And don’t fret about running out of achievements anytime soon. The list is easily expandable, so you can expect additional achievements with each new World of Warcraft content update.
And they answered the first question I had — yes, achievements will be visible on your character’s armory page.
I actually logged into WoW for the first time in months the other day. The devs are attempting to get people to spend all their gold before WOTLK and are introducing expensive but useful items. One of those is the Gigantique Bag, which is a 22-slot bag for 1,200 gold, so I’m halfway through replacing all my bags with those.

Change You Can Strikethrough
Jonathan Martin at Politico notes that Barack Obama’s campaign went through and purged all of the statements on its website where Obama criticized the Surge (when did we start naming military operations after energy drinks, anyway). This is pretty standard for most politicians who sometimes get upset when you try to actually hold them to the actual content of what they’ve said rather than blindly accepting their politically convenient position of the moment. But, of course, Obama was not going to be just another political clone. And if you believed that . . .
Anyway, just wait until bloggers realize that the Obama campaign also went through and deleted all the press releases at their site that mentioned Violet Blue. When that comes out, expect the mud to really fly.
