We appear to be edging ever closer to The Funkopalypse–that point where there will be at least one Funko Pop! and at least one variant figure for every human being who has ever lived.
This is probably why alien civilizations have never contacted us. They all reached the Funko Pop! level of development before gradually exhausting all of their resources in an orgy of plastic likenesses.
