Open source XCom clone Open XCom
recently reached its 1.0 release.
Open XCom essentially implements XCom on modern systems and with some bug fixes, but is otherwise identical to the Microprose Game originally released in 1994.
Since it uses the art assets of the original, Open XCom also requires a copy of the original. Fortunately, the original XCom: UFO Defense is available on Steam.
