Since Child’s Play is about a doll come to life, it isamazing just how awful the available toys/figures for it are. This is pretty good in comparison, but still full of meh.
The marekting copy for this brags that “Mezco’s designers have created an all-new head sculpt” . . . FFS why? Hint: what fans of the movie actually want are toys that feature the head sculpt from the actual film.
This is part of a line of statues from Kotobukiya that reimagines horror movie characters. I have to say, I never expected a bishoujo version of Bride of Chucky. Well played.
“I can talk!” Yeah, but that doesn’t change the fact that you look like crap.
Considering that the Child’s Play series is about a talking doll, it is sad just how awful almost all of the actual doll’s and collectible toys surrounding it have been.
And this Mezco 15″ Chucky continues that sad trend.
I love “Child’s Play,” but CinemaSins does its usually excellent takedown of the movie.
