The Hunt for Red October: The Untold Story is a parody of Tom Clancy’s famous (if not very accurate) novel of a mutiny aboard a Soviet nuclear submarine. The parody was written by some unknown agent or group of agents at the CIA. It was first published in former CIA agent Ed Mickolus’ 2011 book The Secret Book of CIA Humor.
