How To Start A Revolution Documentary

How to Start A Revolution is an excellent documentary on the life and work of Gene Sharp, founder of the Albert Einstein Institution, who spent this life advocating for and outlining the steps necessary to achieve political change through nonviolent means.

It is bizarre that as of December 2021, the version uploaded to YouTube cannot be embedded as it has been marked as age-restricted. As a private company, YouTube is free to create whatever policies it likes, but it is a shame that we are quickly reaching the point in online spaces where anything inappropriate for 3 to 6 year-olds is also “inappropriate” for anyone under 18.

This is the online version of school districts kowtowing to the small group of parents who think books by J. K. Rowling, Judy Blume, or Ibram X. Kendi should be removed from school libraries for being “inappropriate.”
