  1. Brian, I didn’t know you lived in Michigan. In my new position, that’s one of the dozen states that I represent.

Anyway, I have linked to, and appreciated, your leftwatch.com pieces before… I was just wanting to link to one (the post-9/11 one, about how Nader’s supporters support an all-out war, while Buchanan’s supporters oppose it), but I see that the leftwatch.com site is no more, and I can’t seem to find that piece, in the archives here. I am about to post a comment at a major blog, and wanted to reference that article (among others)… Could you please let me know if it’s available anywhere (or send it to me), or if there’s anywhere else on the web where that information (from 2001) is available?

Thanks, and please keep up your good work!

  2. And (though I think I did do a web search of the current LeftWatch.com site, which I don’t think turned up anything)… But jumping through the archive pages there, I have found it!!

    Thanks again!

  3. Sorry the search there wasn’t working properly. The article you’re looking for is Was Ralph Nader a Pro-War Candidate which discussed polls showing that regardless of Nader’s own position, a Zogby poll showed more of his supporters would support a total war against a nation harboring terrorists than Buchanan’s would (i.e., Nader may have appealed to people who liked his economic populism but not his foreign policy views).
