Bush vs. Kerry Campaign Funds

According to the Associated Press, at the moment the Kerry campaign plus the DNC have a total of about $118 million on hand in funds. The Bush campaign plus the RNC have $169 million.

The AP quotes a DNC fund raising letter in which James Carville is quoted as saying,

We either pull out all the stops over the next few weeks or we will live to regret it.

Both parties are still raising money, but the problem for the DNC is that since January 2003 the RNC has raised almost twice as much per month as the DNC has. If polls keep showing Kerry peforming poorly in battelground states, he could find donor money drying up quickly.
