One of my major time wasters over the past couple months, other than obssessively watching “24” on DVD, has been obssesively following and downloading from MP3 blogs. I really love finding odd and obscure audio tracks most of which have little or no commercial value which is why MP3 blogs are just about the only place to find them.
So IMO, Basic Hip Digital Oddio’s Kiddie Records project is very cool,
In 2005, Basic Hip Digital Oddio will feature an entire year of albums from the golden age of kiddie records, lovingly transferred from the original 78s and encoded to 192kbps MP3 format. That’s one a week for 52 weeks!
