This woodcut poster is one of several that illustrators Frances O’Brien and Ernest Hamlin Baker collaborated on for the Putnam County Defense Council of New York.
O’Brien was well known for her portraits that graced the covers of The Saturday Review and other magazines, while Baker illustrated more than 300 Time magazine covers.
