This is a pretty clever and relatively cost-effective hard drive storage system. It is a large piece of foam with cut-outs for up to 18 bare hard drives. According to reviews, the cut outs are more than large enough to accommodate 3.5″ drives in anti-static bags.
The foam rectangle is the right size to fit in either a file cabinet drawer or a half banker’s box. These go for about $72 with shipping from Amazon, so this is a good, cheap way to store a lot of bare hard drives.
