Last month, it was reported that The CW had committed to a pilot of “The Graysons” — that’s right, a live-action television drama that would have explored the life of Dick Grayson before becoming Robin.
The show is now definitely off, though not for the obvious reason — that it certainly would have sucked — but rather that Christopher Nolan apparently didn’t like the idea. Whew.
All is not lost, though . . . The CW decided not to do an Aquaman show, but why not Aqualad? Hell, why not just go all out and do a Mr. Myxlplyx variety show? I’d imagine that would capture the same viewers who would have tuned in for “The Graysons.”
