I’ve been shooting portraits for a while now, but recently I’ve been really drawn to the idea of creating a nude photo series — something that’s not sexualized or vulgar, but rather honest and emotionally powerful. I’m just struggling to define what makes a nude shot “tasteful.” Is it lighting? The model’s expression? The setting? Or is it just an overall vibe you feel? I’d love to hear how others have approached this kind of work without crossing the line into cliché or overexposure.
