Corruption - Bribery
For its 2013 Global Corruption Barometer report, Transparency International asked 114,000 people in 107 countries, asked a number of questions including:In your contact or contacts with the institutions have your or anyone living in your household been requested a bribe in any form in the past 12 months?
Thirty-four percent of all respondents indicated they had been asked for a bribe in the past 12 months. The chart below breaks out the percentages for all 107 countries included in the survey.
