Filed my taxes using FreeTaxUSA this year, and everything went smoothly during submission, but now my refund status hasn’t changed in over a week. Hello! Filed my return through FreeTaxUSA like I’ve done in the past, and got the confirmation that it was accepted. But after a week of nothing changing on the IRS tracker, I started wondering if something glitched. I looked through freetaxusa customer service to see how others handled this. Turns out a small typo in the bank info can slow everything down, even if the platform says “submitted.” I ended up reaching out to both sides and got it fixed, but now I always triple-check account details before hitting send.
Appreciate the info, that cleared things up. Wasn’t sure about it before, so this definitely helped me understand the process a bit better. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
