Hasbro recently announced it will be releasing 9 “new” Iron Man action figures in its series based on the movie. Of course all 9 appear to be nothing more than repaints and/or minor modifications of the previously released figures (which have already seen a number of minor and repaints). Still, this Battle Monger figure is pretty fraking cool,
Bif Bang Pow! will be producing this bobblehead version of the Mystic Seer from the classic Twilight Zone episode “Nick of Time”, where William Shatner’s character becomes obsessed with the “predictions” made by the fortune telling machine. Oddly enough, the Mystic Seer is one of the few TZ props that wasn’t thrown out by CBS after the end of the show’s run, so the real thing is out there somewhere in some collector’s home.
Now, if I can just get a Magic Conch replica, I’ll never have to think for myself again!
Medicom has the rights to produce action figures based on the Rolling Stones such as this 12″ Keith Richards. When it comes to action figures, you can’t always get what you want . . .
The AllSpark Rubik’s Cube was supposed to come out back when the Transformers movie was first released. Supposedly it’s back on track and is going to drop Real Soon Now(TM).
It was awesome that DC managed to finally pull off a Legion of Super-Heroes cartoon, but then it pretty much ended almost as soon as it began and there were almost no toys based on the series (McDonald’s was pretty much the only source for collectors there). Mattel plans to remedy that oversight by releasing a set of LSH figures as part of its Justice League Unlimited line. These will only be available for sale directly on its MattyCollector.com site beginning May 15, 2009.
In October 2009, Sideshow Collectibles will be distributing this 12″ figure of Vincent Price from Masque of the Red Death. I can haz Dr. Phibes plz?
