The Marvel Toilet Paper Comic Book

Back in the late 1970s the folks at Marvel must have been thinking they’d licensed Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk on toothbrushes and bubble bath, so why not toilet paper? And so, in 1979, along came The Incredible Hulk/Spider-Man comic book on a roll of toilet paper.

The story is told over several sheets of toilet paper, and then repeated across the roll’s 325 sheets.

An eBay seller is selling these in sheets that tell the completely story (rather than the whole roll) for $19.99. I bet Jack Kirby would have liked to wipe his ass with Stan Lee on occasion, but otherwise this is a bit like the Hello Kitty vibrator (um, I mean massager) — just a little too out there.
