This is probably the single most captivating video I have ever seen of an unexpected incident aboard an airplane.
In this case, the pilot of a chartered King Air Turbo Prop dies shortly after takeoff. Onboard was passenger Doug White, who had roughly 230 hours of flight time in a Cessna 172s but no experience with the significantly more complex King Air plane.
The video re-creates the flight using a flight simulator and published radar tracks and other details of the actual flight. Audio recordings of the communications between White and air traffic control are played to give a riveting presentation of the entire ordeal.
