This Desktop Power Center is one of those gadgets that you end up going “why didn’t I have something like this years ago.”
As you can see from the photo, this is essentially a 3-plug power strip along with two USB ports for charging. There is a 6-foot power cord in the rear that gets plugged into an outlet.
I’m the sort of person who is constantly plugging in new computers/devices and used to struggle with finding a free space on my existing power strip and then figuring out how to get the cable up from under my desk to the device on top of my desk. A real pain in the ass for something I might only use for a short period of time.
With this desktop power center, I can quickly plug and unplug laptops, tablets and other devices that I’m testing or using temporarily without skulking around under my desk. This thing currently goes for $36.99 on Amazon and is more than worth the price. I use this thing several times a day and it saves me a great deal of time.
