Stuck on Star Trek (Amazon link) is a hardcover book featuring Star Trek backgrounds and “…”Kling-on” pieces.” In other words, they are to Colorforms what MegaBloks are to Lego.
Anyone else remember that Star Trek Colorforms Adventure Set? I remember being 7 or 8 years old and in some dirty, run down K-Mart my grandparents had taken me to and there was the Star Trek Colorforms set which, at the time, I thought might be the greatest toy ever made.
I’ve recently started using MyFitnessPal for calorie and exercise tracking. It’s one of the better websites/apps for that, but like a lot of applications data goes in to MyFitnessPal but doesn’t necessarily come out in a very usable format.
Another of MyFitnessPal has web page where you can put in the username of any publicly available MyFitnessPal profile and it will pull down dietary information and save that in CSV. But it doesn’t pull down weight or exercise information.
Why do developers and companies insist on not giving users effective ways to control and have access to their own data?
