This Lego Green Lantern Power Battery may be the best thing ever (at least for this week). This would be amazing as-is, but the creator of this at JustJon.Net hit it out of the park by a) making the battery actually light up, and b) having the light triggered by an RFID-equipped ring.

Yet Another Green Lantern Ring I Must Own
Man, DC Direct is really dropping Green Lantern rings right and left (probably because they know fanbois like me will be there to buy them). This Honor Guard replica ring is set for June 2010 for $35.
Sinestro Power Battery
Damn, DC Direct is killing me here with all these Green Lantern-related props like this Sinestro Power Battery. This one’s scheduled for release in October 2010 for $350.
Mattel’s Retro-Action DC Super Heroes
Beginning this month, Mattel begins releasing its series of Retro-Action DC Super Heroes based on the Mego line from the 1970s. These aren’t straight up copies of the Mego toys. For example, the initial Green Arrow toy available directly from Mattel on Dec. 15th is billed as a “a more accurate Green Arrow.”
Mattel currently has an initial three waves of four figures planned for sale at Toys R Us, with the initial set going on sale in early 2010 featuring Superman, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Sinestro and Lex Luthor.
No word on whether they plan to also produce any of the vehicles such as the Green Arrow Car or the awesome Justice League playset.

DC Direct recently announced this Green Lantern Mini-Neon sign (7″ wide by 9″ tall) shipping in August 2009 for $89.99.

Early next year, DC Direct will begin releasing a series of Mini Neon signs. DC has made large neon signs available to retailers for years now, but these are smaller, cheaper versions — the Batman mini, for example, is 12″ high by 7″ wide. These will retail for $89.99 apiece. Along with the Batman and The Flash signs depicted below, there will also be a Wonder Woman, Superman, Justice League of America, and Green Lantern Mini Neon sign.
